IN light of our soon to be taken engagement pictures, James and I have been looking online for very cute pictures ideas. And in a joking matter James just started typing random things into the search bar for google, it started out totally dumb, but then waws like Image Search: I love Sheri. And stuff actually came up!!!!!

We found a site called cafepress.com that makes all forms of clothing with I love.... What ever you want.. I love Mike, I love Bulldogs, I love Coffee, ect.

A few days ago. James came to pick me up for a totally awesome date in a white hoody only to find out it says I love SHERI! It was sooo cute!

Bridesmaid Dresses

So... bridesmaid dresses are really really expensive and hard to pick out... because you have girls ranging from 5-18 and some have long legs and some are short... and you still want them all to match....

I've found a place on line that takes measurements and makes dresses for a fraction of the cost of buying in a store. Now. Not all the dresses I've picked are displayed in Dark Blue we can order them in that color...

Choices Choices every where but not a decision to be made... lame... :(

Guest List of Doom!!!!

Whoo hoo!!! James and I have FINALLY!!!! completed our guest list. Who knew it would be so difficult?!?!

I mean shouldn't it be easy to remember all you closest family, friends, and people that have helped you on your way in life??? It should be but then you got to remember all their first and last names, children, spouses... ect.. What a tricky process. My biggest challange was my family. Poor James he doesn't know what he's in for.

In my family alone. I have my mom, Rachel, Stephen, Katie, Her Hubby Ryan, my dad, and His Wife Suzette. That's 7 right there. Not to mention my mom comes from a family of 4 who all are married with kids who are also married. Then my dad comes from a family of 9 who are all married and have kids... All in all just family along for my side took up 83 people!

But we tackled the beast.. Counted up the family and added a few close friends to our 150 person limit for the actual ceremony. I can't afford the 3 dollars a chair after that. (They really know how to nip you in the wallet!) The reception list was even harder.. trying to remember who you already invited. Making sure "our" friends weren't on both lists. I think The grand total for the reception was 300 ... Yikes!

All in all it was a great time. James and I laughed about family, not knowing some peoples last names, and putting things like Mr. & Mrs. So and So.... Kid 1, Kid 2, Kid 3.......

So guest list down.... 400 billion things left to do....

He is the most amazing EVER!

So, yesterday was Monday.
That's it nothing else was special about it. I got up went to work. Had a very busy day.
After work. It was down pouring on the South side of town and it always amazes me that people forget how to drive when a little water is involved. It took me 30 minutes to get from Flamingo to Charleston! That's not even 6 miles! I wasn't on the freeway either. Mostly because people that drive the freeway are even dumber in the rain and it's always packed to the brim.

After a very VERY long 50 minutes it took to get from my work to my house that I'm house sitting at. Mind you there is only 16 miles in between the two points. I dropped of the key to the home owners and collected my fund-age. 40 bucks isn't bad for 2 days, all I did was feed their pets and have friends over to go swimming. Anything for honeymoon money. I mean who new that having one relaxing romantic week with your new spouse could be so pricey!

After dropping off the key and collecting my dollars, I headed over to James' to pick him up. Now on the way home I had called James a few times. When I was talking to him orignally, he told me he had a present for me, and that it was attached to his face and it made this sound ::Muah::. :) This totally made my day. It's that weird sayings and funny gestures that make being in love so wonderful. James had told me after that, that he was going to drop off a few things for work. He works at Starbucks, which is a GREAT job for college, and from time to time he had to drop off stuff his store had that another needed. Such as: Mocha, Protein Powder, Ect. So, a quick I love you and the phone was silent again.

When I pulled up to his house, we were talking again and I had mentioned that I was there. It is a great feeling to be greeted after a long day of work with a smile, a big hug, and a "I missed you baby" After a quick hug James covered my eyes said he had a gift for me.. So totally excited that I was getting another kiss, which has and still seems to make me weak in the knees, with his hands on my eyes, he kissed me. I melted right there on the spot. Still in a daze James handed me a boquet of roses, and a tv show on DVD that I LOVE! Then he told me that sometimes I just need an extra something, because I'm everything he's ever needed.

SO cute!! Awwww... it was so totally unexpected, and he didn't have to. My favorite thing was the fact that it wasn't for a birthday, or an anniversary, or anything ... it was just because he loves me... and he wanted to...

I have the BEST [STB] Hubby EVER!

Can you kiss in the dark?

So, here is the deal.. James and I had family night with my mom and went to the park and played hide and go seek in the dark. It was so much fun..

we hid around, played tag, swung on the swings, and rode skate boards down a hill... Fact: I love how he is with my family.
Fact: I love how we can turn one crazy idea into a fantastic night. Fact: Kissing while hiding makes it hard to be quiet. :)

But in all honesty this is one of the reasons why I love him. I love that we can spend the night doing everything . Or a night doing nothing. Both are super fun...

Sometimes it's the little things that make life life... and the little things that mean the most to us..

The Perfect Place

James and I went and looked at a few places today to actually have the ceremony. I was really neverous that we wouldn't find something decent in our budget which is basically $1,500. I know that seems like alot but most places won't let you book just a ceremony. or you have to book like a 3 hour time slot.. when my sister got married we paid $5,000 for just the place to have the wedding.

So, We did find this place that had you know pretty good grounds. The date we had in mind was open and it didn't seem to bad, but there was a few problems with it and it just didn't feel right...
Then we found it the absolute perfect place.. beautiful, willing to work with you... the photographer is extremely good, it's so green and pretty, can hold everyone and no one has a bad view.... plus it's like $300 under budget, which helps...
So, my mom and I are going to put the deposit down next week... and we'll have it!!!
Here are some pictures for you guys!

Love and Barcodes

Lately things have been a little crazy around here.

I found a checklist online that shows James all the things that need to get done in a certain time frame. It look about like one thing per week. Which is not to bad.

But since school is starting yet again, we are trying to get 3 things done a week. Last night was sooo much fun!! James and I registered at Target and you should have seen the fun things we got. We planned out a Kitchen, and a living room, bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The apartment we are getting has 2 bed 2 bath. I had the home advantage because I actually have lived away from home, so I remember all the little things you think you need, and the things that you actually need. I think it was a great awakening for James. I don't think he really realized how much stuff goes into making an apartment, not including the furnature, or anything.

I finally got to pick out pots and bowls, all sorts of things it was SO much fun!

So yeah Buy us awesome gifts, or give us money... we like that too!

Wedding Dresses

So, James has been gone to Church camp this week and I've been getting a head start on all the planning.

James is thourghly convinced that Six Months is not enough time to plan a wedding, so I told him I would handle it. Now James is not your typical guy, thtat goes here are the people I want, and the colors I don't want after that I don't care... Nope James wants to be right in the middle of it all. Which I thought would bother the hell out of me, but it's actually nice to see how he cares about everything.

Anyways. I made a binder to help keep track of all our ideas, deposits, information, and finalized plans. I've done a TON of looking for everything online this last week and have pulled up some great ideas, and some not so great. Anyways when James came home last night he was bombarded with 2 hours of wedding talk. His thoughts on Colors, flowers, invites, reception places, everything. I think we have a good grasp on the idea we want.

Today though I had sooo much fun with my mom and little sister. We went wedding dress shopping. We went to David's Bridal and I tried on like 20 dresses. I'm pretty sure I've found the one I want. You know how in all those chick flicks you see the girl and she puts on the dress and she's like OMG this is it...???? I TOTALLY had one of those moments!!!

It was great, my mom took a picture of all the dresses and we are sending them to my older sexy sister Katie in Reno to get her imput before we make a decision.

The colors James and I have picked are Black, White, and NAVY blue.

Anyways yep.. Dress shopping was GREAT.
And to save $ we found a great pattern at Joann's and we are going to get the bridesmaids dresses made by this lady we know it'll be fun.

The Engagement Story

So here it goes.

In June during James' sisters graduation he suprised me one day by taking me to Jareds and asking me to pick out the wedding ring I liked. I was sooo totally shocked because I didn't even know that he had been looking. I picked this great ring with 3 stones in the center and smaller stones on the side that looked like me promise ring. I felt it was a great way to put the past and the future together.

After we purchased the ring we left it there for resizing and went to Golden Spoon.

Now this was the first time I had ever been to Golden Spoon.

So everytime after that when we went to Golden Spoon the next month I always asked James if I was getting my ring that night because we bought it and went to Golden Spoon and So I should get it at Golden Spoon.

Finally one night we went to Golden Spoon again, and right there at Golden Spoon James got down on one knee, told me I didn't need to ask for it this time. He was so adorable. He was shaking cause he was nervous, and he told me I was it. I always had been the one he needed. I was his best friend, and everything to him. Then he asked me if I would spend the rest of my life being his bestfriend, going on adventures and loving him. then He said " Sheri, Will you Marry me?' I started crying and I couldn't say anything... But ohh it was absolutely perfect. Finally I got over the shock enough to tell him Yes, I will forever and ever and a little past that.
